St Michael’s National School, Kill, Rathmolyon first opened to pupils in April 1961. In 1971, a decision was made by the Department of Education and Skills to close the two teacher school located at Ardanew and the students were moved from there to our school. Additional classrooms were built to accommodate the additional numbers attending the school.
The school currently has 109 pupils, 4 Mainstream teachers, 1 part-time Resource teacher and 1 part-time Learning Support teacher. This team works together to ensure the effective teaching and learning environment present in St. Michael’s National School, Kill.
